Product update: What's new in TAS 12.5.3

The latest release of the Treasury Automation Suite brings five targeted enhancements to payment processing, reconciliation, and multi-entity visibility within Microsoft Dynamics 365. Here is a summary of what has changed and what it means for your finance operation.

Automated vendor direct debit reconciliation

TAS 12.5.3 introduces automated reconciliation of vendor direct debits against open invoices, ensuring seamless settlement of liabilities outside of standard payment processes. Finance teams can now eliminate the manual matching work that previously sat between direct debit collections and the corresponding AP entries in Dynamics 365, reducing errors and freeing up resource for higher-value tasks.

Enhanced payment acknowledgement with CAMT.054D support

The release significantly improves the end-to-end payment acknowledgment process by enabling a single bank response file to settle multiple outbound payments simultaneously. The addition of CAMT.054D support takes automation a step further, allowing exchange rates to be updated directly on payment journals without manual intervention; a meaningful efficiency gain for organisations operating across multiple currencies.

Cross-company inquiry for AP and direct debit processings

For organisations managing multiple legal entities within Dynamics 365, version 12.5.3 introduces cross-company inquiry capabilities for both Accounts Payable and Direct Debit file processing. Treasury and finance teams can now monitor and manage activity centrally across entities, rather than switching between company contexts; a key step towards a consolidated treasury operation.

PFA payment calendar performance optimisations

Processing time improvements have been applied to the PFA payment calendar, delivering faster scheduling for high-volume payment runs. These optimisations improve scalability and reduce the overhead associated with large payment calendars, making TAS 12.5.3 better suited to organisations with complex, multi-entity payment scheduling requirements.

PayPal settlement report reconciliation format

A new credit card reconciliation format based on the PayPal settlement report has been introduced, enabling more accurate and streamlined reconciliation of PayPal transactions directly within TAS. For businesses processing significant volumes of PayPal payments, this removes a longstanding gap between payment processor data and the general ledger.
